Ceide Study XIII - GRAINNE DOWLING
About the Wall Art:
Grainne Dowling is an Irish artist whose inspiration comes from the coastline of West Ireland, where she was born, and the ever-changing skies of Curragh, Co. Kildare, where she lives now. While studying ceramics, sculpture and painting at the Crawford College of Art and Design, she took a year off to live in Vienna, Austria. It was there that she fell in love with painting. Today, her gestural and expressive work can be found in collections around the world. “I like to express the landscape in an emotional way – my use of colour is layered, textured, unconventional and contemporary.”
Care Instructions:
Cleaning your canvas wall art can be done in 4 easy steps:
1. Get a clean washcloth or soft brush. Make sure the cloth you use is clean so that no dirt transfers to your canvas print.
2. Gently run the cloth on the problem area of your canvas wall art. Using too much force may damage the canvas. Going in soft, circular motions is the best way to treat the item.
3. Once you’ve dealt with one problem area, be sure to clean the washcloth before moving on to the next. This is to avoid any staining. It is recommended to use another clean part of the washcloth for the next spot that you will clean.
4. After cleaning the wall art, you must then let it dry completely. When it dries, you have a ready to hang canvas print once again.
Be sure to avoid direct sunlight and moisture so that you don’t cause damage to your canvas wall art.
